The Crash

Last night, I was riding the bike with an inexperienced chick.  We were headed to a friend's wedding in a remote village on top of the mountain.  We needed to drive like 195 Kilometers.   At the 165 kilometer mark, she  made a sudden movement while we were making a sharp turn.  The bike swung like mad.  She was very nervous, she made another sharp movement.  We crashed.  The rear part of the motorcycle swung wildly and the front started to crash.  

I think my sensible driving saved us.  Or maybe it was sheer luck!

My bruises and little scratches still hurt though.  :(  Ouch.....

My New Hobby

Would you believe me if I was to tell you that I spend most of my day in my orchid garden?  Yeah, it might shock some of you who knew me.....

Actually, I do like taking care of my orchids, and I enjoy watching them grow.  I watch them closely when the buds slowly open their petals to reveal exotic, colorful flowers.

Hiya folks! I'm just dropping by to check on my friends. Hope life is good for each and all. I'm doing great here in Palawan, PI. I do miss all of you back there, and I often think of the great times we all spent hanging out, livening it up, and keeping it real. I'm sorry I haven't been online much, but I'm just here..... I'll try to come here more often to keep in touch.

I think I'll stay in PI for awhile, if not for a long long time. I'm contented about life as it is right now, and I'm very happy. Life's been good to me and I feel very blessed with the way things are going. I'm at peace with a lot of things and I've settled down somewhat..... I've understood that I have so many things to be thankful about. God has been very good to me.
