What A World! What A World!

I do not know if I should write this down or not because I don't want people to think that I am bitching. Anyway, here it goes.............. A few days ago, I was on my way to Big C, at the back of a motorcycle (for hire). I was caught off-guard when the white cap I was wearing flew off and landed in the middle of the road. I got off the motorcycle and stood at the side of the road staring at my cap, waiting for the traffic lights to change and waiting for the right moment. Most drivers who saw the incident were very nice about it. They made a point not to hit my cap, but one mean motorcycle driver knowingly and purposely hit it and laughed loudly while doing it! How mean can people in this world be? I sometimes wonder if basic human decency still exist. Yesterday, while walking home, the side mirror of a speeding car hit my right elbow. I was more stunned and confused than hurt because I know that the people in the car, especially the driver knew what had happened (that they had hit me). I thought I saw the car slowed down and almost stop half-heartedly, but before it could stop completely it speeded off. I am still shock that they never apologized or expressed any regret regarding the unfortunate incident, but instead knowingly just went on. (Hit and Run???) What a world! Does anyone still care?
