We were (or we must have been) standing on the right spot at the right time when this Balinese local religious parade passed by. I believe that we were in Nusa Dua town when we saw this spectacular sight. 
I still don't know what the parade was exactly for, but I noticed that they were carrying decorated giant god-like images. I also noticed that every man in the parade was wearing some sort of white wrapping on their head, a white top and a sarong, while the women (carrying baskets or containers of food and offerings) were wearing sarongs as well..
After a close examination of the clothing that they were wearing during, I have come to the conclusion that the parade had something to do with an event in a local temple or a major temple even.
